Food was on Bauddhayan's mind when Little Lamb was born.

Hence, the philosophy of Little Lamb draws a parallel from the world of food. According to Bauddhayan, the founding director of Little Lamb, "Filmmaking is like preparing a dish. It needs the right ingredients in the right proportion to make a tasty treat."

At Little Lamb, we take pride in cooking up stories.

With hand-picked ingredients, mixed to perfection, we make films that are edible.

Bauddhayan Mukherji, the quintessential Bengali from Kolkata, got rechristened Buddy in Bombay. No prizes for guessing – he hates it. What he loves however, is to eat. His adage – we also make films!
400 television commercials and 2 feature films later, Bauddhayan is as hungry and as humble as he was 23 years back and believes that he is as good or bad as his last film.
Bauddhayan directs kids with panache – even when they grow up to be adults. He loves telling stories with emotion where performance is key. An incorrigible perfectionist, he drives his team of assistants up the wall. The fact they still keep coming back for more is an inexplicable phenomenon.

Monalisa Mukherji is a poet, producer, aspiring filmmaker, supermom. 50 points for guessing those. 50 more if you had been a hindrance while she is going for her singing class or about to conduct a healing session.
Our Executive Director has a fantastic way of putting people in her permanent bad books specially those who have coffee or chocolate without offering some to her. (Any guesses for how many 8 year olds inher bad books?)
You might catch her sailing to Tristan DaCunha or trekking in Atacama or, if you are lucky, in our office, streamlining our pen.

THE LAMBS

Producer, editor, singer, guitarist rolled into one, Avishek Ghosh aka Chhotu is a man of many parts.

Avishek is a tough task master and is often seen juggling multiple projects involving multiple directors with aplomb. However, his appetite for work and lack of sleep is enough to make his assistants run for cover. Stories about his sweet tooth is legendary, so is his dedication for Liverpool and Barca.

Psst… psst… Avishek is often seen looking for convincing excuses for turning up late from work – if you have some to save him from the wrath of Brinta (the wife) you can pass them onto him.

Also, if you ever catch him singing the Mohiner Ghoraguli song “Dhnadar Thekey Jotil Tumi” (You Are More Complex Than A Riddle) in a party, do report to us!

He is merely 27. But Abhinandan Banerjee has hallmark of greatness written all over him. A college drop out, a creative genius with an overthinking mind, an amazing illustrator - Abhinandan has just directed his debut Bengali feature film, The Cloud & the Man.

Abhinandan heads our content lab La La Lamb and is known to be a huge fan of anything that's science, arts and in the realm of the subconscious. Quite a deadly combo.

Nobin Dutta. Dal makhani eater, sand collector, fitness enthusiast.

When Nobin is not working on treatment notes or day dreaming about the beautiful shots that would adorn his future films, he is either cooking or taking his pet to the vet. Nobin takes his role as the DA at Little Lamb Films very seriously though inherently he does not like being comfortable at work.

A rare early riser in his generation, Nobin loves his mornings, mountains and beaches in no particular order. An avid photographer, Nobin is often seen browsing while sipping his beer.

Swati Kakade feels she is not photogenic in front of the camera yet clicks the most number of photos at every office party. What she is blissfully unaware of is her smile that lights up every frame.

But she is capable of wiping that smile off your face if you try to fudge figures while submitting accounts to her. As the accountant at Little Lamb Films, she is honest, approachable and pretty ruthless when it comes to her job.

Swati is mad about food, a quality which automatically endears her to all of us.

Very much like his favourite drink Vodka, Laxman Sharma loves to live his life – raw and neat. As the accountant turned line producer of Little Lamb Films, his disarming earthiness and reassuring smile can make tough decisions appear cool. He is down to earth and the epitome of humility.

A self-confessed Govinda fan, with his trade mark songs and clothes, he carries his adoration to the work-field, solving complex production issues with his inbuilt confidence. Laxman can sleep his way through any amount of work pressure yet leave everyone around deeply satisfied.

A handy cricketer, Laxman has managed to make a virtue out of saving; any untoward expense appears as a crime.

As simple as the pani puris she adores, Geeta Patel can be tinglingly spicy in dealing with the host of problems faced on the production front.

As the admin of Little Lamb Films, she carries the weight of the world on her shoulders worrying about anything and everything that can possibly prove a distraction in the work & lives of her colleagues. Whether it is an emergency catering to a dozen hungry stomachs or coordinating work shifts on critical days or working as the assistant stylist for all our inhouse costume jobs, Geeta loves to feel the lambs revolve around her.

No wonder she is Mother Teresa & Annapurna clubbed into one in one avatar and Osho on the other for her whatsapp DP messages on love and relationships!

An FTII Alumnus, Sushant Tambe is what all mother-in-laws would dream of – soft-spoken, good natured, witty and polite. At office, we love him for all of the above.

A brilliant colleague, a wonderful human being, a meticulous co-worker – Sushant has graduated from being our post-producer to our Associate Producer. Sushant handles the complexities of our multiple projects with so much ease that we are taken by surprise, pleasantly so…

A handy bowler in box cricket, a brilliant mimic artist, a decent singer and a crazy dancer with thumkas to die for, Sushant Tambe sports the love of his life in a tattoo. Do remember to ask for a sneak peek when you meet him next!

What do you call a man who prefers kabaddi to cricket and pani puri to pizzas? Well… nothing. We just accept him the way he is and love him for that.

Digivijay Patil, our Associate Producer, is different and happily so. He is a small town boy who lives in Mumbai for his love for the moving images. Honest to the core and incredibly hard working, Digvijay loves to cooks up stories and cooks as well.

If you don’t find him at office burning the midnight oil, you would possibly catch him riding his bike while listening to Sufi numbers. Wanna be a pillion rider?

You know you have reached Sarvesh Pandey if you see a guitar strapped, well groomed, nattily dressed guy at office.

Lover boy to the core, Sarvesh is our Post AD who professionally has improved in leaps and bounds in the past of couple of years. But on a personal front, his search for his Geet/Simran/Paro/Tanu still continues.

Till he finds one, we bet he would be busy clicking his many moods in the many selfies that he clicks. No wonder we call him the ‘Selfie King’ at office.

If Lopamudra Ghosh had not been an AD at Little Lamb Films, she would have surely been a heroine’s sidekick. With impeccable comic timing and amazing dance steps, Lopa is a living stress buster at office.

She resembles the Samurai every morning – bowing down to say ‘Good Morning’ to every living organism around her, Lopa takes pride in being a die-hard Bengali and a proud Kolkatan.

Emotional and moody, Lopa is all over the place with no filter while talking or expressing herself.
